Valerie Sanchez, Vice President, Valerie Sanchez lives in NJ with her husband. Valerie has over 27 years' experience in finance and is currently a partner at a women-led financial services company. She is a committed member of her church where she leads the Hospitality Ministry. Valerie loves to serve, cook and DIY. Valerie has been a Board Member since 2013.
Maria Fonseca, Secretary, Maria Fonseca graduated from FIU Miami with a degree in International Finance. She has worked in various administrative roles and has been part of the Board since 2013.
Michael Byrnes, Mike has been a Facilities Manager for the past 8 years and currently holds that position for an accredited museum and art school in New Jersey. In this capacity, he is responsible for maintaining the grounds, building, and systems, as well as events setup. During the prior 20 plus years Mike was a trained Network Engineer where he designed and installed data centers domestically and internationally. Mike has been a Board Member since 2017.
Doreen Gagnon, DNP, MSN, APN-C, Doreen Gagnon is a Family Nurse Practitioner as well as a Nursing Educator at Bloomfield College, Division of Nursing. Doreen received her Doctorate of Nursing Practice from Rutgers University, Newark, NJ and her MSN, Family Nurse Practitioner from Felician College, Lodi, NJ. In addition, Doreen has served at Ground Zero as a Medical Team Volunteer as well as on Medical Mission trips to Dominican Republic and Africa. Doreen has been a Board Member since 2018.
Robert Kirby, CPA, Robert Kirby is the COO of Kemnay, a single-family office, and is responsible for all non-investment operations. Mr. Kirby joined Kemnay in December 2011 from Auda where he was the COO/CFO and was a member of the firm’s executive committee. Mr.. Kirby holds a MBA from Cornell University and a BS from Rutgers University. He is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of New Jersey and State of New York. Robert has been a Board Member since 2018.
Jennifer Martone, Administrative Consultant, Jennifer has been a consultant for the Valentine Foundation Inc. since 2014. Her passion to help adults achieve lasting sobriety has made her indispensable to the Valentine Homes. Jennifer provide administrative support for the homes and office, interfacing with treatment facilities, prospective residents and current residents.
